i use a dual doser for ALK and Ca
works like a charm i use 1Gal water containers to store it and have a second batch made up when it gets down to about a quarter full switch it over and in a week...

I started using seachem reef salt and found calcium was 500+ and it was $55 a bucket switched to IO for $40 a bucket and the first 3 or 4 buckets needed some mg and ca added which I bought in bulk...

All bad bad trama
So i introduced a kole tang into my tank after a 5 week QT middle of Jan.

auto Dosing help!!
i have a 120G system total volume
it uses about 1 DKH a day so about 20 ppm calcium every 3 days
i got sick of daily dosing and unstable parameters so i ordered the twn aquadoser from JL and...

i dont think id life the dark ends of the tank............my buddy has a 6 foot planted discus tank and leaves the middle MH off...............im not a fan of the dark spot look
with 2-3 foot...
