Yep after reading all the comments "CHEAP" really P---ES me off. I think I had the LFS check my water maybe twice when I first got into SW and then J&L recommended some different options for testing...

I have a Vertex Omega150 and have it sitting on 6 stacked egg crate pieces, kinda the same as what you have there. It's in 8" of water and works great, I ran it in vinegar mix when new for 24 hours...
