I realize building a tank is not that difficult as I have done it before. I was more curious about how you plan on bending the glass.

Cutting the excess silicone out of the corners and putting more in makes no diffrence to the tank. The silicone that actually holds the tank together is the stuff...

I would go with 2 powerheads in the range of 200ish gph or more. A 100gph powerhead sure won't do much in a 20g tank.
