My first reef tank
Well here it is, my first reef....
It is a 55 gal dutch style acrylic tank.
Hardware:
2x 175w MH w/ 10,000 Ushio lamps
2x 36" NO actinics
Tronic 250 watt heater
DIY Skimmer
4x 300gph power...

hehe much better than my first tank (15 or so...
hehe much better than my first tank (15 or so years ago) filled with bleached coral and a normal 4' shop light with undergravel filter lol.
I am about to post my first pics of my first reef tank....

Live base rock
I have 40-50 lbs of Live base rock. Lots of worms and snails. Not much coraline. Has green growth on it but not hair.
I need it to go today before 4:00. best offer gets it.

Odd alge groth
I have got some odd rust brown/dard brown gunk growing on a small portion of my sand. Half of the substrate is 3 years old the other half is new. As well I just added in 60 lbs of rock i have cured...

WTT for a sump pump.
