3 watt leds are much better but with so little blues its going to look very white , ive got 50/50 on blues and whites and i dont run the whites at full and thats just to get a 12k look.

You can mix them up its no problem, just add fish slowly to let the bacteria catch up with the bioload , as it takes time from them to colonize the dry rock.

Just my opinion but i would ditch the hang on filters because i would be scared of them filling with crud and go with the mp40(or something with similar flow) and just shoot for lots of random flow...

Sounds like its time to break out the zap straps and epoxy putty and build your rock work tall . Or find some nice sps to top it off and let it do the fill in work.

Is the tank dry or wet ? if its dry cut the rock with a tile saw to get a flat edge and silicone the crap out of it ( in a corner fith 2 sides of contact would be best) or drill pockets in the back...

I pull the top rim off all my small tanks , and there is a bit of a bow . Ive also taken apart a few small tanks to cut up and you would be surprised at how tough the glass and silicone really is .

I was actualy lucky most of my fish and all my coral survived but i still lost a blenny , goby , and 2 wrasses .Im buying a reef keeper lite next week so that will never happen again.
