A good question. Took me a while to figure it out myself haha. The Panorama strips are designed to REPLACE an existing light fixture such as T5s. You rip out the T5s and screw in multiple Panoramas...

You don't need a controller at all for just on/off operation. However if you want dimming and such you need one controller for the lot, they get daisy chained together with a data cable.
