Hello Sam,
I would buy one of these HAGEN(???) starting kits from LFS. Make sure that canopy is made to fit 2 incandescent bulbs. I think you probably will have to buy 10gal one as 6gal has only one...

Coralife 40W NO for sale
I have 3x 4' 40W 10000K NO Fluorescent tubes made by Coralife for sale. I used them for less then 15 hours. I paid $27 (icnl GST/PST) for each. $55 takes all 3.
