I've been thinking about this a lot.
The problem is, the loads we run on our tanks are mostly inductive and resistive, and they're not small (yours aside).
If I were you, I'd go to Costco, and...

I can't help you, but I know I find my mag 9.5 loud...It's already sitting ontop of some vinyl tubing, but it still seems to make this loud humming sound.
It's ticking me off, since I spent $130...

Unbending Vinyl tubing?
I'm hoping someone can help me out here, because I'm ready to kill something. I'm plumbing my tank, and I'm using 1 1/4 ID Vinyl tubing for the overflow. However, the stuff is impossible to work...

Andy,
That's the method I linked to in my last post.
If two polarized camera filters are placed on opposite sides of tempered glass, a cross will on the filters.
As far as I can see, no...

How do you tell if a tank is tempered?
Hey everyone!
I've got (what I'm 95% sure is a) 37G tank. When I was talking to one of the guys at Ocean Aquatics, he said that he's rarely seen a tempered 37G tank. Now that I do a few...

Be worried.
Bathtubs are placed over additional support when built, so they can easily take the 400-600 pounds of weight. From what I've read, the limit for "anywhere" placement is a 55 gallon...
