I had harlequins once and did not notice them eating any of those little white starfish in my tank. I had to buy big starfish and they would eat those. Not sure why mine (I had two) would not touch...

Yeah these feather stars are tough. I got rooked into one at an LFS and it lasted approximately two months. I tried to feed it everything and it just did not pan out.
