I find coral skeletons grow thinner when growing directly on top of glass. You just have to get a razor blade underneath it to release it from the bottom but it's hard to get nice polyp sized breaks....

I like the backup generator with an extension cord running to the tank :) I have the battery back ups for the MP40's, D cell air pumps and a gas fireplace that will run during power outages.
