I think it will run fine as long as you find a 28W ballast. I ran my actinics on a HD ballast for ages before switching to a VHO icecap ballast.:biggrin:

I aim for an ORP of at least 400. Dosing about 25-30mg/ml (I know its low) in a 90 gallon tank. Apparently you can go as high as 450 or so.
