Essentially you want to curb the cause of cyano and it'll clear it up quite promptly, same goes for a lot of algae and imbalances in the tanks. Why bandage when you can stop the injury from happening...

It does look anemone-like, I can sorta distinguish the tendrils. I don't think it's aiptasia though. Any way to get a clearer/closer shot?

Honestly in a tank that size I doubt a clown would have much effect. Clean up crew will consume it really quickly. I have a system less than half that (65 + 20 sump) and of the few fish that did die...
