Nice. Your stand has nothing on crammedness compared to mine. I literally have a 2 x 2 x 8 inch space (including above other objects) for any future additions in the stand. I was thinking a small...

It tends...

Also 3 months to fully stocked from a scratch tank is really soon.

If nothing is showing distress, just hope it's testing error.

Someone must have been a bit goo grabby. Be gentle.

Good to hear your balls have found a new home and are going to good use.

I'm glad someone thought it was funny :)

My carbon doesn't float after a cold soak overnight (BRS ROX carbon), but I do find it's still silty.

Do you guys let it cool naturally or do you...

I'll have to try this next week when I swap my carbon out.

Microwaving water does nothing to the molecular structure or composition of water - it will add heat (energy) to the bonds within the molecule, but it won't make it into anything else besides H2O.

GSP, what are the overall dimensions on this thing? I too dislike my 9002 - I feel like it could be doing a lot better than it is. I guess I'll wait a while to see how your unit is working out :)

Yes, my corals look better and grow better, but there is a rather large caveat - previous to the FM salts, I was dosing supplements (Ca - seachem, Alk - Brightwell's) by hand. I started dosing the...

I use the balling salts (Ca, Alk and Mg) plus the trace metal additives. They work great for me, so I won't be changing to anything else any time soon.

I tried sample packets of the food, and my...

Does it really retain the ability to absorb and adsorb things as well? The crackling is just the carbon rehydrating - the same crackle as your rice crispies. I'm guessing you can "burn off" some of...
