When the tank is running the water in the overflow is maybe a half inch below the teeth, so 3/4" below tank water level. the Tee / 90 intersection is at almost that same height, 1/2 to 3/4" below...

Flow Issue
Issue #3) Sump flow, I know the goal that all drain water should run through the skimmer before going to the return chamber. With that in mind I decided to see if my sump would make that possible....

That will work. water level in the overflow drains quicker than the tank does, could probably get away with just the hole and not the line. I will have to give them both a try.
The pump goes online...
