Not too sure on this, as I'm not zeo informed, but I think the fact that you run zeo would put you in a different class from me and the issues I might experience in my mixed reef...

personally, I wouldn't put a mandarin in a tank...
personally, I wouldn't put a mandarin in a tank that was less than 1 year old with LOTS of LR and substrate...
Unless you know for sure it'll eat frozen and you are prepared to spot feed it often.
