No I am not sure why but the mic on that camera is mega sensitive, it's not loud at all. The fish don't even notice it's moving.

The only other thing I would suggest is turning it over from time to time. I rotate/flip mine once a week or so. I do it to ensure the entire piece is getting proper light.
