Hey Ken,

That sump tank I have is 21.5"L x 16"W x 20"H, needs a little modification but I am sure we can make it work.

And I think is is made of 3/8" glass maybe 1/2"

Only had it for a couple months, it was very fat and eating anything I would feed until just recently. He withered away fast and died on Sunday.

Very true Laurie, we have pups that have gone to farms with ducks, geese, chickens, goats, cats.......... And none of them have harmed another animals unless it's a preditor and doesn't belong there....

Changed the inlet today to an 1.5" but still have a little reverberations coming from the pump. Next step is to change the outlet side to an 1.5" tee into 2 - 1" lines with rubber hose but maybe not...

Well I re-plumbed the intake to my pump today & also added some sound dampening pads under the pump as well. I think it is a little bit quieter then it was before but will not really know until I go...

I have been researching as well on this issue Jeff. The snappers are fairly quite in a sound proofed cabinet but I think a submersible Laguna with a sound dampening pad under it ( in a zip lock )...
