Ah its only ugly at first, eventually you won't notice it. Corals seem to cover over it pretty quickly too, which is nice :biggrin:

it should be fine, its designed to cure in the tank. if you're worried about it, just swish it in some other water after you've mixed it up then mount your frag with it in the tank. :biggrin:

Yeah I have my reactor effluent dialed down as when the pump is off the rocks are out of water as the level in my sump isn't high enough. It works fine :biggrin:

Unfortunately it evolved that way. The coralline algae just died off until there was and is now nothing. I still have some on the rocks but very little. I wish I could figure it out.

It says the exact same thing on mine. It wasn't until I found the 0.5 part that I went ohhhhh and realized I had just wasted $15 to find out my alk was the same as my salifert kit reading :razz:
