it will temporarily , but theres not enough pressure in a gravity feed to stop it completely so if enough time goes by it will slowly leak , it will stop the skimmer from overflowing though :)

Most 2 part products have the dry weight of the products already measured...

Adding Alk won't bring your calcium down by anything noticeable , it will only raise Alk. if you want to bring your calcium down then just don't dose anything and let it fall , as consumption happens...

2 bulbs aren't ideal , 4 bulbs are better , 6 bulbs better agin etc.

At the end of the day 2 bulbs will get you out of the red zone.....like I say...
