i just rinsed the rock and put it in the tank. this is when i first started my tank. i used about 60-80lbs of live rock and aprox 100lbs of tufa. looked like all the other rock in 2-3...

well thats the beauty of storing them in the fridge is that they dont grow anymore cause their systems slow down so much but they still stay alive. so they stay as 1st stage shrimp the whole time....

i would not put the ballast where the light bulb would be, as the ballast casing will rust as well and same problem had. i mount my ballst on the back or top of my hoods and have the wires going...
