They all seem to come out of the same fleshy body, suggesting they aren't mushrooms. Are Acanthastrea built the same way?

I've seen ones that are only 1.5 inches across that you could house for a while, I've also seen ones that are 6 inches too. No idea how long it takes to get that big in captivity.

Kick me when I'm down

aftermath of ALK mishap
So all of my levels are returning to normal, Ca+ is back up about 390-400 which is close to what the calculator said I needed to counter the high Alk. My Ph is still really high and I can't get it...

Before I had MH or even PCs over my tank I was able to keep a few SPS under NO lighting because it got several hours of sunlight each day. I found it pretty neat!

If its only a temp solution until the camopy gets built, maybe try egg crate from Rona or Home Depot.
