I agree adding some salt water as evaporation happens is perfect. Aim for 1.023-1.025 I keep my tank at 1.023

in my sump I have 2 baffles with a filter in between, as the water flows through the filter material through the baffles my bubbles are gone.
I have a beckett style skimmer in my sump the pushes out...

They do make a glass polish, it is alot of work and it will distort the view. But call a windshield place and they will tell you where to buy it.
