Small planted office tank

Hey guys,

I would like to set up a small planted tank for my office.. Something between 3-6 gallons. I am in a smaller city, and do not have many fish specialty stores to buy equipment for a tank....

Thanks for the offers and advice guys, I won't be heading to Golds, but I am going to try the heatpack and styro container idea. Its just for a few inverts, no fish, so it should be alright.

Its not a pain in the ***, my tank is only a 10g, so I fill one bottle every 2 weeks or so. It's nothing someone who isnt lazy is not capable of doing.

I just added a HOB skimmer to my tank, and there is only one spot it will fit on the back of my tank. The problem is, the intake is very close to where my bubble tip anemone is seated....

I understand the benefits of an RO/DI unit. But with only a 10 gallon tank, I dont think it is worth it for me to get one at this time, which is why I'm doing this as an alternative.
