I went with the Red Sea Max and a Nanocube 6...

I went with the Red Sea Max and a Nanocube 6 because I wanted a tight fitting lid to keep the fish from jumping out. I also went with the RSM because the stand looked better than the others.

I have a Chalk Bass and a Highfin Perchlet in my RSM. The Perchlet sounds like it is very similar in behaviour to your Tobacco Bass.

Makes sense but I can't seem to get it to work. The claws on the inner piece don't come out of the line. I figure I must be missing something because every one I have tried to take apart breaks.

The number refers to how many eighths of an inch the tube is in diameter, so a T5 is 5/8ths of an inch and a T8 is 8/8ths of an inch
