adding sand to an existing system
Sorry for the silly question!
Just wondering how you would add a bag of new sand to an already established aquarium..
Do you just rinse the sand, and add it?
Any helpful tips, or just...

so after our busy day of running around as followed...picked up drill 10G, went and pick-up Fir (for the fish tank wall unit/stand) , then pick -up rock for the 10G, we came home got the lil guy to...

We are thinking that we can eventually custom...
We are thinking that we can eventually custom build another column tank like our existing one, but a mini one (29 gallons maybe) for the seahorses.
So they won't be cooped up in a 10G forever....

Question about drilling Topfin Tanks
We just bought a 10G Topfin aquarium to use as a small species tank. We called the manufacturer and they told us that the bottom is acrylic but the sides are tempered glass.

temperature fluctuation
We recently got a new MH bulb, which has been heating up our tank quite a bit. Then, at night, when the light is off, the tank temperature drops. It's fluctuating from 76.9 to 78.1
