3 clams in my tank under LED's and no target feeding for me so you should be fine. I fine that the larger clams +2" do have a little better survival rate.

Apperantly GE has changed the formula and all GE silicone except for the SCS1200 has a small portion of the mold inhibitor in it & should not be used in aquariums.

I found that I had to use a bigger pump the a mj 1200 when I was using a TLF reactor. Did you remove the foam & do you have the outlet from your reactor really close to you skimmer intake?
