The first of the bottom two is part of an open brain. The last one is a bit fuzzy but it is my toadstool leather.

Siphone the cyano out when you do water changes, and do them often. Cyano is usually a pretty good indicator of low ph so you might want to check that as well.

The distortion in the last one is just me trying to zoom in too far. Haven't quite mastered the setting yet, but I found that by using a tripod with the lense as close as possible to the tank, I can...

Lets see those macros!

I finally figured out the macro zoom on my camera so I thought I'd share. The last two are tricky, see if you can guess the coral.

Well, your anemone should be fine but you might want to do something about that red slime algae or cyano bacteria as it is otherewise known.

Guys, this is a good thing because when you bought those anemones they were bleached.

Inside of your anemones and in many other corals lives zooanthalae algea, this is what causes them to "glow"...

What size is the tank? Mine is 36 inches long, a 65 gallon and I have a small regal tang. There are many types of fish you could get inlcuding blennies, gobies, damsels, firefish, the list goes on....

Not the greatest pic but it shows my becket skimmer fed from the mag 18. Its submerged about 8 inches. Before this setup I used to run the skimmer externally and above the water line. Its way more...

I haven't got one yet but thanks for the facts about size and flow. I have a 65 gallon tank, so that would mean I need a 13 gallon fuge. I was debating putting some lights over my sump and planting...

He's fine but shy. He doesn't eat the nori I got him either. He does eat everything else I put in the tank though. Tony, is this bad for him? Does he need nori or other sea weeds to help him digest?

Hey Deb, I'm using a Mag 9.5 as a return for my 65 gallon. My sump is only 25 gallons but there aren't really that many bubbles getting through. I would go with the 9.5 over a mag 7, for the extra 20...

Hey Bev, what about some kind of worm trap? Put a snail in a small juice bottle and drill a worm sized hole in the cap, do the waiting game for a while and see what happens. The whole situation suck...
