I have touched/accidently picked up many bristle worms and they aren't so much toxic as irritating (unless you're allergic I suppose) and the chances are pretty good you have lots more then just one...

I did find out that pocillipora are brooders and the chances of a polyp bailout actually settling and producing a skeleton are slim to non so I guess I should be handing out cigars :lol:
