I've had issues with my pump. The impeller shaft is ceramic and tends to build up with calcium deposits, especially at the front of the impeller. Soak it for a day, or overnight if you can.

Hey Alan, the Jebao pump is not bad, but not great. I find its a little sensitive to turning off, when it gets too dirty, or anything gets jammed or blocks the impeller, which is what it's designed...
