pic of the new 120g reef
Well it was a long day on Monday but I did it. I still need to plumb up my two closed-loops and my other two halides but I'm glad it's just up and running!
Here's the pic in the Canreef photo gallery: http://www.canreef.com/photopost/sho....php?photo=604 |
It looks like you have a layer of something under the sand.....what is it
|
Oh yeah, almost forgot.... .....your tank looks great!
|
And here's my AE 30" beckett skimmer I made:
http://www.canreef.com/photopost/sho....php?photo=605 It was too big so I had to plumb it inline and beside the tank. It's run of a LG 4MD which I had lying around. Surprisingly it works really well. I'm not sure if it's the pressure rated version or not, I doesn't say on the decal. Does anyone know if the motors are the same in the pressure rated/non-pressure rated versions and it's just using a different impeller? I've got a few of those kicking around in my junk box too. Maybe I should post pics? |
