next reef reactors
looking at buying a coupla next reef mr1 shortys. i have a 93g cube and think these will do the trick. i'm going to run gfo and carbon. i've only seen them on salty supply website. anybody in canada sell these
I notice grizz uses these. |
I got my MR-1 reactors from Pets and Ponds but their supplier doesn't carry the shorty. Reef Supplies carries the MR-1 and SMR-1 but I think they are backordered.

I heard they were discontinued.

Do you have your heart set on the Next Reefs ?
I just installed a pair of AquaFX single reactors from J&L and am very pleased with the final result. And they're much less money No tubing or screws to play with during changes. This is why I replaced my TLF150s with them I didn't like the flimsy mount brackets they came with so made my own |

I just installed a pair of AquaFX single reactors from J&L and am very pleased with the final result. The next reefs look like they are really well built. Did you daisy chain the two reactors? |

You can buy them in a dual but I prefer them independant. Both for different flow rates and servicing |
These guys look alot like the brs reactors. Are there any differences?

If chef wants to know I'll gladly get into it, but the thread is about Next Reef |
MR shorties do seem to be discontinued. Our supplier does not show them at all anymore. They are showing the MR as 2-3 days away, so we get them in late next week.
