15 gallon rebuild
Well I have got the itch again, decided to get the tank up and running again. This tank is going to be much better than the last time I had her up and running. This is the progress I have made so far.
http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/pic...pictureid=6051 This is how it started out http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/pic...pictureid=6054 Then I got her set up to drill a hole in her http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/pic...pictureid=6055 Took 3 tanks to get this hole drilled, it was a real pain with this thin material http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/pic...pictureid=6050 Cut some glass for the overflow, a little haggard cause it was my first time cutting but it'll do More pics to come, I'll upload them tomorrow |
Very nice.

My aqua scaping out next, just wanna make sure that paint and plumbing cures for long enough. |
Looking good.
I like your idea of the frag tank and Quarantine out one long tank. |

Anyhow enough of that future stuff. This is what I have accomplished now, not much but a little progress. Aqua scaping: http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/alb...pictureid=6067 The tank from the couches. Very bright http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/alb...pictureid=6066 FTS kind of cool rock in my mind. Don't know what corals I'll decide to keep yet though. http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/alb...pictureid=6071 From the left side of the tank. This is where I plan to put an mp10 http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/alb...pictureid=6072 Right side of the tank, the power head there will be removed as I don't believe that it'll be necessary with an mp10 in the left corner. http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/alb...pictureid=6073 Another right side tank shot, kind of shows the top of the rock work |

Top down, good flow with the return sprayer. http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/alb...pictureid=6069 Sump return side. http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/pic...pictureid=6075 Live rock area in sump, I will get some cheato and put it in front of the lr thats in there now. http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/pic...pictureid=6070 Electrical stuff, its got to all be mounted out of the way and zip tied yet. This is also where the ATO RO/DI water bucket will be. http://www.canreef.com/vbulletin/alb...pictureid=6074 This is a cabinet that I'm going to put on the left side of the tank for storage and whatnot, later on I will mount an LED fixture to this cabinet. I made it tall enough to do this. That's all I got for now |
