Hey! That Lookdown might be Nick. I had him for a year or so before I let JL sell him for me.

Bump for a spectacular, showpiece fish...but only suitable to be housed with fish of his own size or larger.

Actually I don't agree with you on that. This lookdown has been kept with a 2" damsel for 2 months. I thought when all the rock was gone out of the tank he would go after him but I was wrong. Even with no hidding space the two get along fine.

That's good. Maybe you are keeping him better fed than me. Mine was smaller and made many attempts to eat my orange spotted gobies, which were over 2" long. He also ate six coral gobies which I expected. (I thought they could hide in the coral branches...and they tried...unsuccessfully!)

Agree. Have you asked ay LFS to maybe take him on consignment? Maybe they can sell that puppy and take a small piece of the sale.

Nice fish.

Well I talked to grant at IPU and he told me he had not had one for 12 years. He said with out saying it that they won't be able to take him let alone give me a credit.

Too bad. Is that the only option you have?

Good luck! If all else fails.... Vancouver Aquarium!!!

The aquarium does not take in fish.

That actually surprises me. West Edmonton Mall takes stuff from people for their aquarium... they have taken Leopard sharks and what not from thoswe who can't house them.

Well good luck. You seem to be running out of options unless someone wants it. Nice fish.... very unique.

well the aquarium *sometimes* takes fish. Only donations though, and only if it will have a decent place in one of the exhibits. If this interests you, it might be worth contacting them.
