The translations are little hard to follow sometimes but for me it's still a very interesting thread.

seems fairly straight forward for the most part, dose either HGH or AA one hour before lights out, then pappone. turn down skimmer and keep elevated Ca, Mg, Strontium and alk....see corals blossom  hopefully. seems to work wonders who for those that have been using the method for years and years. i just started last week but haven't really anything much more to comment on since the dosing starts on a once a week basis but i'll keep letting you know how it works for me.

here's another epic thread: http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=971190&perpage=25&pagenumber=1

Yeah there's a ton of info about it out there. I didn't mean the process was hard to follow just some of the babylfish translation makes for less than perfect reading. Good luck and keep us posted.

Good luck with importing the Human Growth Hormone into Canada, since it's very illegal ;)

Interesting view from Calfo. I would have thought 15 minutes of blending would yield a pretty small particle size. I wonder what the largest size is that an SPS coral can digest? 50 micros maybe? It would seem when pressed even the Italians are saying papone doesn't feed the corals directly.

well, i dosed again last night (2nd time since starting) and i have to say that so far, i'm not noticing any huge change personally. sounds like most folks aren't' noticing much till at least a month after starting though. there is some good PE on some corals and retraction on others...mostly zoo's, i suppose because they can capture some of the particulates. well, we'll see...

so, bit of an update for ya. i've been using this method now for just about 1 month and have noticed great coral growth as well as color. nitrates and phosphates haven't been an issue at all but i have noticed a weird "fuzz" coating on return lines and live rock...apparently alot of others are as well but so far i haven't heard much of an explanation other than that the amino acids cause it. it's not really that much of an issue, just an observation i guess
