where does evryone put there ballast boxes. they get pretty hot do u just put them in ur stand? on the wood?

I actually put mine (PFO 2x250) on a brick on the floor behind my stand, with the appropriate drip loops...

Mine sits on a cinder block elevated off of the carpet next to my stand.

sits on a shelf behind the wall in a room with all my other equiptment, I take the lid off the ballasts to help heat my house :D
