With some DIY mods you can retrofit a 150W DE setup into a Home Depot Halogen floodlight. The floodlights will run you about $30 each at the Home Depot. The 150W DE sockets/bulbs/etc can be found online for about $140 if I recall correctly.

You'll still need to get the MH ballast and the MH sockets to make it work, but it should fit into the fixture itself.

can you get the retro kit locally? or you have to find it online...? I found a 1000w metal halide at a hydroponics place...but i think that'd be overkill :)
