First I'd like to know if this is a good deal. At Petcetera by my house I found what they a Kole tang for $80. They always offer 2 for 1 on all fish so I can pick up a bi-colored angel for free.

Secondly, The Kole was a very deep blue to purple color. Everything I've looked up online shows pictures of what I know as powder blue tangs. Whats the deal? Do powder blues color morph with maturity?

what about the deal?

80 bucks, not so much of a deal. Second fish free, maybe, but J&L sells medium koles for 30 bucks. I would expect to pay about 45 at a LFS, tops. That's just me though, so if getting the second free fish is what you wanted anyway, the deal becomes much better.
