When browsing pics, do you prefer the full tank shots, or the macro shots?

Personally, I always want to see the whole tank. I see the arrangement as a work of art.

What do you prefer?

Id say full tank shots are my prefference but an ideal post will have both

For me, I just like the look of a mature tank as a whole. SPS, Mixed, no matter. Macros are cool, but doesn't show the design of the tank and rock as a portion of the reef.

I myself love both equally I love the full tank shots and the diversity of life in the tank and the spectrum of colours

But I also love the macro shots because coral is such a fascinating life form with so much colour and vibrancy

I want to see macros of the corals followed by a full tank shot at the end.

As usual, you are missing the third option, all of the above! I love both equally :-p

For me a 3rd option would be video that includes macro and full tank view.
videos shows the depth of a tank and it's surrounding.
But to answer the above question I do prefer the full shot.

For me, its the full tank shots

After all, that is what I spend the most if my time looking at (at least with my tank).

I love the macros, but without context (the FTS) I find they lack something. So I'm a fence sitter on this one. Need both :)

Oh, sorry, I should have qualified this vote. You have to actually have water in your tank to vote here, sorry Dom :)

Neither Canreef, nor it's staff or affiliates are responsible for any damage incurred by keyboards in the event of coffee snorting.

+101 on full tank, cuz then a guy can "steal" great aquascape ideas when re-doing a tank. But body EVER re-works their tank right? :ballchain:

Need more choices. Top down, progressive pics, Indiv pics, fish only pics etc...
Did select as all are equally nice to have.

I prefer macros... mainly because I prefer shooting macros. Love seeing the tiny details of coral/fish.
