| 9. I did a lot of research on this project before attempting it, and a lot of time was put into the proper mix of concrete I would use to cover the styrofoam and create a natural looking environment. My main concern was the chemistry of the water with this much concrete inside. I used a mixture pure concret (do not recall exact name) and oyster shell which was painted onto the styrofoam. It turned out fantastic and created an extremely secure environment for the aquarium. Of course, hundreds of hiding places were created. |
