Reef octopus regal 200 external
Talk to me about this skimmer. Does it only come with the red body box like the picture or is it white. THe waste tube seems to be half way on the skimmer cup.

No, you don't. Externals are pretty flexible in the way you mount/install them. Btw, he's got a neck cleaner installed there.
