new Aquarium gloves STINK
I got some long gloves, for working in the tank from JL last week. They are Coralife ones. They stink to high heaven. That plastic/rubber smell. Wife tried washing on gentile cycle with some vinegar, but all that did was make the inside of them WET LOL. What can I do to get rid of the smell?? They are in living room, beside tank, adn I can smell them as soon as I walk into house. Skimmate smells better....almost

stinky gloves
I turn them inside out and rinse in the shower. They wreak if you don't do that, and so does your hand after you pull them out.... nasty.
Cheers, Phil

stinky gloves
The outside is stinky??? That I am not sure how to fix. Maybe soak them in a very strong salt solution. But seriously, mine stank so bad it smelled like it was the whole glove, but when I rinsed it and let it air dry, they smelled april fresh. And it really wreaked bro, like I had been cleaning fish all day, then leaving it in the sun for a couple of days to fester. Mixture between fish sauce and chum. Good times. If the smell persists, set them in a heater duct of an enemy (see my sig!) and get a new pair! Stuffing them in a couch works great too!
Cheers, Phil
