Cool I have to get one of these

I don't know how many car crazy people are on Canreef, but I am absolutely car crazy and reef crazy and have to share this. I have been following the developement of the new Dodge Challenger and after reading a recent article in a magazine I have decided I have to get one. MSRP for the new Challenger is 40-50 grand. I owned a 2003 Nissan 350Z for 3 years and had to sell it because of my wife and my new job (needed something that could carry lots of gear, 3 months later they gave me a new truck). Ever since I have felt like I had lost my man hood. Well now I'm getting it back and what better way than with a new Hemi Challinger. In 2008 it will only be available in an automatic, in 2009 it will be available with a 5spd and 6 spd stick. I'll be waiting for the 2009 models. Now the only hard part is deciding what color to get it in.

I know, what's up with Chrysler? It's like they're trying incredibly hard to not suck or something.

Neighbour kid's got himself a Charger Daytona 6.1. This thing is a beast, I want to ask him to take me for a ride in it. JSTR on this board has himself a pretty spiffy Charger too, in the limited edition purple. I've gotta say it is one sweet ride. Wish there was a way I could get myself one of them without losing my Xterra to get it, 'cuz I still need the truck to haul around the summer toys if nothing else. It's .. um .. sort of uncool to put a trailer hitch on a sports car, no?

gorgeous car! Very nice choice indeed!

I am tempted by the 2008/09 Camaro coming out.....I had a 91 Camaro in white, T-roofs, dressed and improved 305 TBI HO, Rockford Fosgate stereo system with 12" subs, lowered with hydraulics (yeh it went up and down like on the gangster videos) and was one h**l of a car....bought it new, built it to what it was and sold it when I had kids a few years back as the hydraulic pumps took up the back seat....it's hard!

Default Hmmm

Sorry, just not a Dodge fan, Maybe an older Hemi Cuda, but I will still take the new Camaro when it comes out, but not till second year of production. As for toys, I just got rid of my 94 GT,,It was a fun little car, but I am working on my 78 Malibu. The Mustang was a respectible 475hp and had a top speed of ?? Well I backed it off at 240km and still climbing.. The Malibu when finished should have approximately 800hp and I am hoping for low 10's in the 1/4 mile.. We will see, still a year or so away yet. Hard to decide between corals or Supercharger sometimes. This was my old Stang and the other pic is my wife in what I tried not to see very often..http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/i...ry/stanger.jpg

Everyone may not agree with me but in my opinion this is the first and only real retro muscle car. Yes Ford did a nice job on the new Mustang but it still dosen't feel like the original Mustangs of the late sixties. A mustang I would consider a sports car but not the new Challenger. It embodies everything that was true about a muscle car. I do think putting a trailer hitch on a 425hp muscle car would be a small sacrafice to pay to own one though .

But it's a Dodge. Even if it looks cool on the outside it's a Dodge.
