Default Upgrading to a 90gal

I just picked up my new tank today its a standard 90gal. I currently have a 54gal bow front corner tank that I will be selling after I get everything moved over. Just wondering what the procedure is for doing this. I will be needing more sand and LR. Should I let it cycle, then add the rest of my LR from the existing tank? This is an addicting hobby, it only took me 6 months to figure out I needed something bigger!

I might not go with a sump. I know its better to though, but if I do I will definitely need someone to give me some tips. I don't really know anything about setting up a sump or drilling a tank for one.
