Default Green Birdsnest Coloring

I had a quick question regarding my green birdsnest. Ive had it in my tank for over a month now, its growing very well, and always has polyp extension. Lately ive notices that the inner stalks arent as green as the tips are. Is this normal? Its a bit hard to see in the pic, but you can see the color difference between the tips and the rest of the frag.
