Default What is it?

Weird worm, anybody know what it is? It usually looks like a grey tube and is mainly nocturnal. 3mm in diameter and several centimetres long. One end stays put most of the time in its rock hole.

Is that not a Eunice worm

possibly also a peanut worm, but I don't think I've ever seen more than their tentacles out of their hole.

I once bought a bunch of really fresh Caribbean LR from King Eds.

Bought same day it arrived.

It had a ton of peanut worms that actually looked really similar, they just never came out of their holes like that.

Kind of like a fatter, uglier fan worm.

I thought of Peanut worm before and thought no the shape is not right. But now that you mentioned it I went back to google and I think it is a peanut worm.

That pretty much puts an end to the idea of nude reef keeping...
