Default Calcium chloride 94%

Hi anyone used Calcium chloride from Cleartech Industries before? I gave them a call they have 77% up to 94% they have a distribution here at lower mainland.

The 94% looks promising comes to around $50 for a 20kg bag

Yea pool place carries the 77% but sells it $50/bag. I have to check other pool places for prices.

But if you go directly to supplier they sell the 77 much cheaper. while inquiring sales told me there's a 94% as well.

How is it working it out for your reef?

Sorry to hijack this thread, I was just browsing and found this, 94% pure and I wonder if people have use something similar?

https://www.amazon.ca/Snow-Joe-MELT1...861401&sr=8-12

Since there is no way to know what the other 6% is, I don't know if it can create a negative effect for our reef in long term.

no worries, Yea that's the thing it's hard to tell if it's safe. The old Dowflake amd the Prestone drive clear. people have tested it and it works even the new dow one with bromine no early adverse effect. Just not sure about long term
