If you have a new Sorrento read this.

I bought a 2013 Sorrento and I was very happy overall they worked out some of the problems I had in my last one. But I found that the stereo was a POS compared to my 2011 sorrento that had descent sound. the 2013 is not loud has no bass and basically nothing for audio settings that make any difference overall that is. If it's cold the stereo is totally pathetic.
Recently my wife hooked up her Galaxy cell phone to the stereo and created a custom eq. setting to play her MP3's and what a difference it made. Use stereo stereo blows most stock systems out of the water. I get low bass that shakes the mirrors on my doors and nice clarity that can be heard though the bass. I'm guessing the sound quality has increased 2 or 3 times easily.

If you have a new Sorrento don't waste your time using the head unit to process the audio use your mp3 player.
