I paid about 1.50 and $2 a foot for 3/4 & 1" when I bought it from Oasis pool & spa out in Surrey last summer. The guys next to J&L were not helpful at all.

Use real pipe cheaper and safer. there's a reason plumbers are not allowed to use this stuff glue joints fail. I've pulled a piece of 1.5 spa flex right outta a 90 that it was glued into in the past. For what it's worth pool and spa places will carry it but they will only sell big rolls.

After reading this I'm glad I went with solid abs to the return pipe.

Thanks for the input...

I think I'll skip the spa flex...
I may be setting up a remote sump for the first time and I worry enough about spillage already.

Thanks!

Default Glue

The key to Spa Flex is use the right glue not 705 or 711 I think it is 765 for flex pipe and I believe you don't use primer just ask supplier to be sure

1-1/2" Spa flex is really not that flexible either... worked at a pool and spa store for 5 years!
