Default Any Giesemann Experts?

I recently acquired an Infiniti unit with a package purchase, but one bank of the T5s isn't working.

There are two cords coming from the unit, one running into what I believe is an original ballast, and the second rigged into another ballast. The original ballast has two powercords that run one MH and one bank of T5. The other ballast only has one powercord, and has a different gauge wire running into the fixture, compared to the original ballast.

I know very little about electronics, so am turning to the community. Please help!

If you can snap a couple photos I'm sure we will be able to help you or at least put you in the right direction.

Default Giesemann

I have the same exact unit and the exact same thing happened to me, i had to replace one of the T5 Ballast. I purchased the ballast from Giesemann online.

I opened the unit to, and I just can't see how I could possibly do that. I figured that would be the likely scenario. How much was the ballast?

The first picture is a galaxy 150 dual, what I believe to be the non-stock ballast. It's rigged into the unit, with a secondary? line capped off with maurettes. One powercord into it, one cord from it to the fixture that is a thinner cord.

Second pic is what I believe to be the stock ballast. Two power cords run into it, on for one of the MH lights, one for one bank of T5s. There is one cord that runs from this to the unit and is a thicker gauge.
