Don't laugh, but this would be my re-created tank drawing that we submitted for quotes and planning purposes. The submitted one was much better, I promise.

I would do up a proper one, but 1) I'm lazy, 2) I'm lazy, and 3) its for planning purposes, and doesn't require perfect lines.

I'm not all that well versed in these things but it looks good to me. I'm not sure you need 2" drains though. My 1.5 " drain (with 2" gate valve ) can out flow my dart return. You might be able to same some plumbing costs there.

We're actually thinking of upgrading to a hammerhead pump. Plus I'm concerned that in the future I'll have to up the flow and I don't want to be held back by the drains. You're right though, we could could with 1.5" drains and probably be safe for years to come. We haven't really finalized anything yet so there is still the option of going with 1.5".

Its done! We're now just working out a mutually agreeable delivery date! If you need a stand definitely go see Francis! Awesome to work with, and you definitely can't beat the price!

I wish it was here already...I hate waiting!

We got our quotes back on the tank and now we're just working with them and deciding which direction to go with.

I want my new tank to be here and to be up and running!
